To try to find the start of the settlement of the St Osyth area we must travel back thousands of years. Below the fields of the parish we can find evidence of long lost people and their activities.
The visit of television’s Time Team probed further into the past of the Village and an important archaeological dig at Lodge Farm in 2012 revealed a series of ancient people making this area their home.
